Baitang Mountain Tea, also known as Purple Bud Tea, grows in the Xiangtou Mountain, Luofu Mountain, Nankun Mountain, and Heyuan Guishan, four famous mountains located within Boluo County's Baitang Town, in the Lingnan Mountain range of Guangdong Province. Boluo Mountain Tea is a gift from heaven to humanity, absorbing the essence of Luofu Mountain and the spirit of renowned rivers. The terrain of Baitang is characterized by connected peaks and crisscrossing valleys. It has a mild climate with warm winters and cool summers, abundant rainfall, and is like a natural small basin. These natural conditions are very conducive to the development and growth of tea trees and the formation of high levels of tea polyphenols and aromatic substances. Boluo is located in a subtropical monsoon climate zone, with the Tropic of Cancer running through it. Annual precipitation is 2000 millimeters, and the average temperature is 22 degrees Celsius. The Soil is red (yellow) loam, slightly acidic; hills, slopes, and high mountains occupy over 70% of the county's land, with many areas having slopes between 15-45 degrees. Historical Folklore

As early as the Song Dynasty, Luofu Tea was listed among the famous teas, and Boluo Mountain Tea, primarily distributed in Baitang Town, is naturally also a famous tea.
Awards and Honors
In 2005, through active efforts by the old promotion association and the county agricultural bureau, the Baitang Mountain Tea planting base was listed as the third batch of “One Township, One Product” projects at the provincial level. In 2009, Baitang Mountain Tea was selected as a famous product under the “One Village, One Product” program in Guangdong Province.
