Nutritional Value
Multipurpose Tea: It disperses wind and resolves exterior symptoms, strengthens the spleen and harmonizes the stomach, expels Phlegm and removes dampness. It is used for external contraction of wind-cold, abdominal pain due to food accumulation, vomiting and diarrhea, chest fullness and abdominal distension.
Product Characteristics
Appearance: Light reddish-brown, small, flat, round blocks with complete rounded edges. Uniform in size, thickness, and color (diameter 21mm, thickness 10mm).
Color: Brown granules or light reddish-brown flat round blocks, with uniform color. After Steeping or boiling, the tea has a light reddish-brown color.
Scent: Possesses a pure, clear sandalwood fragrance, without any moldy or other off odors.
Taste: Slightly bitter, with a strong aroma and a lingering aftertaste that refreshes the mind and clears the stomach and intestines upon consumption.
Manufacturing Method
(1) Processing Technology Flow: Purification → Preparation → Formulation → Pulverization → Sterilization → Granulation → Drying → Packaging → Finished Product Storage.
(2) Key Process Requirements:
① Purification: Raw materials are purified through selection, air separation, water washing, sifting, cutting, scraping, removal, brushing, rubbing, scorching, rolling, and soaking.
② Preparation: After slicing and softening through soaking, the herbs are promptly dried and processed according to traditional methods.
③ Pulverization: The purified herbs are poured into a pulverizer, ground into medium powder, and sieved (sieve mesh specification ≥80).
④ Sterilization: Powdered herbs, glutinous rice flour, and water are mixed in a mixer for 10 minutes to form a soft mass. This mixture is then placed in a multi-functional Chinese medicine sterilizer for steam sterilization for approximately 60 minutes.
⑤ Granulation: The soft mass after sterilization is put into a granulator for granulation, using a 16-mesh sieve for granulation.
⑥ Drying: The granulated material is evenly spread on baking trays to a thickness of 3.5 cm to 4.5 cm and dried in an oven. Drying starts at 40°C to 45°C and is raised to 60°C to 70°C, taking 8 to 13 hours. The granules are turned every 3 hours during this period, and the moisture content after drying is controlled to be less than 10%.
⑦ Packaging: Yongding Multipurpose Tea granules are packaged using an automatic packaging machine; or qualified granules are pressed into tablets using a tablet press and then packaged using an automatic tablet packaging machine.
⑧ Storage: Products are stored after being packaged in different specifications and outer packaging.
