Ampelopsis tea, also known as Mountain Sweet Tea or Dragon's Beard Tea, is made from the stems and leaves of the Ampelopsis glandulosa plant. It has a mild sweet taste, is cool in nature, and has properties that can clear heat and detoxify, fight bacteria and inflammation, dispel wind and dampness, lower blood pressure and lipids, and protect the Liver. It is commonly used by folk medicine for the prevention of Hypertension, fever from colds, cardiovascular diseases, and other ailments.

Manufacturing Method
1. Process Flow: Fresh leaf picking → Withering → Fixation → Kneading → Natural stacking → Drying → Re-drying → Sorting and grading → Sterilization → Packaging and storage.
2. Key Processes:
(1) Withering: Fresh leaves must be spread out to cool down, with a thickness not exceeding 5 cm. The moisture loss rate should be controlled between 15% and 20%.
(2) Fixation: The fixation temperature is between 180°C and 200°C, and the duration is 20 minutes to 1 hour.
(3) Natural Stacking: Cover with plastic film and naturally stack for 6 to 12 hours.
Tasting and Preparation Methods for Lefeng Ampelopsis Tea
1. Brewing with a thermos yields better results.
2. Steep 2-4 sachets in 200-300 ml of boiling water for 10 minutes before drinking.
3. Consume 2-3 times daily.
4. Can be re-brewed up to 3 times, then refill with water after consumption.
